Pendidikan Literasi Informasi di Perguruan Tinggi: Perspektif Refleksi dan Pendekatan Praktis Pelatihan Karya Tulis Ilmiah Mahasiswa

Abstrak

Pendidikan literasi merupakan hal penting bagi pebelajar, sejak taman kanak-kanak hingga perguruan tinggi. Bahkan ketika seseorang telah menyelesaikan pendidikan formal dan melanjutkan ke medan kerja, pengetahuan tentang hal yang berhubungan dengan bidang kerja dan cakupannya pun masih harus diperdalam. Demikian yang dimaksud dengan pendidikan literasi secara luas. Dalam arti sempit, literasi berarti kemampuan membaca, menulis dan berbicara, baik dalam taraf pengetahuan maupun sampai tingkat ke-ahli-an. Dengan demikian, cakupan literasi informasi melingkupi segi kehidupan manusia, tentang cara mendapatkan informasi, cara menggunakan alat-alat, dan bagaimana mengolah apa yang ditemukan dan diketahuinya dalam sebuah karya tulis maupun karya nyata.
